| CSA HAPPY HOURS Our CSA Happy Hours are from about 5-6pm til.....? We're currently trying Michael's Cafe on York rd. in Timonium. Our first two Happy Hours for '09 have been at Pikes Diner in Pikesville, a converted movie theater on Reisterstown Rd. (140), inside the beltway. It's easy to get to, easy to find, and has lots of free parking. The food has been very good, and they've had free wings and home-made potato chips during Happy Hour. Another place that has been requested by some members is Shuckers down in Fells Point...we have coincided our Happy Hour with another sailing club there at times, and it's been enjoyable, but some of our skippers have expressed they don't enjoy driving downtown looking for parking, so we've been trying other places before going back to Shuckers. We've also been frequenting Capt. James restaurant on Boston St. They have free parking right on the water in front of the crab deck, pictured above during our "Crab Feast." If you have a suggestion of a place to try, let us know and we will take it into consideration, and put it up for a vote. If we find one place that is desirable to all, we can use it for the permanent HH, or we can just float every few months. |
